Experience Animina with live performance, one night only
On November First, our recent soundwalk, Animina, will be supported by some incredible performances along the route of the walk. This is your chance to experience the piece with some of Philadelphia’s most beautiful theatre artists, dancers and visual artists creating an extra cinematic layer. We have curated these performers to do what ever it is they please. We will not see what they make before hand, they will simply set something in motion. The final piece to the puzzle is you, headphones on, walking from 2nd and Race to the Race Street Pier (and back again). Just show up, app at the ready, between the hour of 6:30 and 7:30.
The new FringeArts building will be open for a small reception during this time as well. Stop by and check out the new venue, and pick up some information on Animina.
The performances will be made by: Kate Watson-Walace of Anonymous Bodies, Beau Hancock, Anisa George of Penn Dixie Productions, Jess Conda of Brat Productions and a recent graduate of Pig Iron’s Advanced Performance Training, Justin Rose and Alex Betchel, also recent graduates of Pig Iron’s APT, Niki Cousineau of SubCircle, visual artist Alison Dilworth, Mason Rosenthal, a Headlong Performance Institute graduate and Michael Mayo and Camilla Dely, both current HPI students.
November 1st, 6;30-7:30, with this app and 2nd and Race Streets, Philadelphia.
